Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To get quotes you'll provide gender, date of birth, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length—just six pieces of information. That's sufficient to return rates from each carrier. Personal details like name, address, and health history are requested only if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These represent the quoted rates based on the health classification you selected. Once you apply and underwriting is complete, the carrier may confirm, upgrade, or adjust your health class, which could affect your actual premium. This website makes no representation regarding insurance pricing or availability.

What happens when I click Apply?

After you select Apply, you enter your name and the system generates an application matching your chosen quote. The process then transfers to the carriers' secure platform where you can work through it at your own pace, pause and resume as needed, and sign documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) manages the application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That depends on which carrier you select, the coverage amount requested, and your health profile. Some carriers with immediate approval options can make a decision right away if you're eligible; each quoted rate indicates whether medical examination is required, may be required, or is not required.

Is a longer term better?

Choose a term that covers the years your dependents would suffer financially if you died—mortgage payments, children's upbringing, business debt. Longer terms have higher monthly costs but preserve your rate for more years. The quote comparison tool shows rates for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool doesn't ask for contact information, we don't sell or share your data, and we use analytics without cookies. For details on exactly what information is collected and who has access to it, visit the privacy policy.
